UE - Project on the impact of Islamophobia on Muslim women
As part of their joint project on the impact of Islamophobia on Muslim women (see attached presentation), the European Network Against Racism and the European Women’s Lobby are looking for a research team coordinator (http://www.enar-eu.org/Call-for-research-team-coordinator) and national researchers on Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, and the UK (http://www.enar-eu.org/Call-for-5-national-researchers-on).
· Call for 5 national researchers on Islamophobia and gender equality in each of the 5 countries covered by the project, to produce a national report on the “gendered” dimension of Islamophobia and related discrimination in employment and racist violence and speech, based on interviews, desk research and the findings of one national roundtable. Deadline for applications: 26 September. Read more
· Call for a research team coordinator on Islamophobia and gender equality to: 1. Support a European team of national researchers in collecting and analysing data on Islamophobia affecting women at the national level (in the field of employment and racist violence and speech); 2. Produce a comparative European Report on the “gendered” dimension of Islamophobia and related discrimination in employment and racist violence and speech, based on the findings of the national roundtables and the national reports.
